Two Options: Obtain Visa at Beirut International Airport or Obtain Visa at the Embassy.

Visit and tourist visas to Lebanon are either obtained upon arrival at Beirut International Airport or at the Embassy, provided the passports do not bear any Israeli visa or seal.

 

Some countries can take the visa upon arrival AT THE AIRPORT.

 

Andora, Antigua and Barbuda, Argentina, Armenia, Australia, Austria, Azerbaijan,, Bahamas, Barbados, Belarus, Belgium, Belize, Bhutan, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, China People's Republic, Costa Rica, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech republic, Denmark, Dominican republic, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Great Britan or United Kingdom*, Greece, Holland, Honk Kong (SAR)China, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Iran, Iraq, Italy, Japan, Kirgizstan, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macau (SAR), Macedonia, Malaysia, Malta, Mexico, Moldova, Monaco, Montenegro, New Zealand, Norway, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Samoa, San Marino, Serbia, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, S.Korea, Spain, St.Kitts&Nevis, Sweden, Switzerland, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, USA, Uzbekistan, Venezuela.

*For British overseas territories citizens, they need an approval from the General Security to get a visa to Lebanon.

For some countries, the General Security at the airport may request additional documents such as a return ticket; a reservation at the hotel; a sum of money equivalent to $2,000 or a certified check of the same amount to be presented at the airport. Those countries are:

 

Algeria, Djibouti, Egypt, Comoros island, Jordan, Libya, Morocco, Mauritania, Somalia, Sudan, Tunisia, Yemen, Ivory Coast, Ghana, and Nigeria.


No visa is granted for women who worked as artists in Lebanon.

To obtain a visa AT THE EMBASSY

Required documents are:

1- Visa Application Form

2- Original Passport (valid more than 6 months) and one photocopy of the first pages where the full name, photo issue date and expiry date are mentioned.

3- One recent colour photo with white background.

4- Original Employment letter (if available)

5- Original Residence Permit in Cyprus with one photocopy.

 

The countries who need an previous APPROVAL from the GENERAL SECURITY OF LEBANON are:

 

Angola, Bangladesh, Benin republic, Bosnia, Botswana, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, Central Africa Republic, Chad, Chinese Taipei (TW), Comers Island, Republic of Congo (Brazzaville), Djibouti Eritrea, Ethiopia, Fiji, Gabon, Gambia, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Kazakstan, Liberia, Malawi, Mali, Mauritania, Mauritius, Mozambique, N.Korea, Namibia, Guinea, Bissau, Nicaragua, Niger, Pakistan, Palau islands, Philippines, Rwanda, Seychelles island, Sierra Leone, Salvador, Somalia, South Africa, Sri Lanka, St. Lucia, St. Vincent & Grenadines, Suriname, Tanzania, Togo, Trinidad & Tobago, Thailand, Honduras, Uganda, Vietnam, Zambia, Zimbabwe.

 

To obtain the approval, the following documents are required to apply for visa approval at the embassy:


1- Visa application form

2- Original Passport (valid more than 6 months) and a color photocopy of the pages that mention the full name, photo, issued date and expiry date.

3- 1 recent color photo with white background.

4- Original residence permit in Cyprus, and a photocopy.

5- Original employment letter (if available)

6- Reservation at the hotel or known address

7- Return ticket

8- Statement of account from the bank for the last 3 months.

9- Invitation letter (if available)

 

STUDENTS

Students who wish to apply for a visa need to provide a letter from the university or college.

 

Visa for a HOUSEMAID accompanying a Lebanese Family:

Housemaids must be accompanied by their employers to Lebanon and must return to Cyprus with them.

Required documents:


1- Visa application form must be signed at the Embassy by both housemaid and employer

2- Housemaid’s original passport and one photocopy

3- Employer’s original passport and one photocopy

4- Housemaid’s original residence permit in Cyprus and one photocopy

5- Return ticket

6- Employer’s written undertaking to accompany the housemaid to Lebanon and back, signed at the embassy.

 

Visa fees:

1 entry €77.00

2 entries €110.00

Multiple entries €154.00
